Description

The Ericofon was introduced in the United States in 1956 and is considered a significant piece of 20th-century industrial design.

Designed by the Ericsson Company of Sweden, it was the first commercially marketed telephone to combine the dial and handset into a single unit.

The Ericofon are in the collections of design museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
